The first step is to contact authorized agent (we are one). All Applications for Vanuatu citizenship program must be submitted through authorized agent. The Citizenship office does not engage clients or public. authorized agent will review and submit your application to the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission
Step by Step

| Step 1 | Submit Initial Documents | The applicant (and spouse, where applicable) submits through an authorized agent a certified true copy of the passport (cover and biodata page), police clearance certificate, birth certificate, and personal profile. |
| Step 2 | FIU Due Diligence & Pre-Approval | The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) conducts background checks. Upon successful clearance, the applicant receives pre-approval, completes the application forms with the DSP representative, and prepares the full investment payment. Payment is made directly to the government-approved agent. |
| Step 3 | Application Submission | The completed application is reviewed by the representative before submission to the Citizenship Commission. Applications must be received at least 8 days before the monthly Citizenship Commission meeting, held on the last Friday of each month. |
| Step 4 | Screening Committee Review | The Screening Committee reviews the application one day before the Citizenship Commission meeting and provides its recommendation. |
| Step 5 | Citizenship Commission Approval | Following approval by the Citizenship Commission, an Agreement in Principle (AIP) is issued to the representative. The AIP process typically takes 7–14 days. |
| Step 6 | Oath of Allegiance | The applicant takes the Oath of Allegiance before a Vanuatu Government Commissioner of Oaths. During the ceremony, the applicant receives the Certificate of Vanuatu Citizenship and is eligible for passport issuance. |
| Step 7 | National ID & Birth Registration | The new citizen registers for a National ID Card and the Vanuatu Birth Register as required by law. |
| Step 8 | Passport Issuance | The Vanuatu passport and citizenship documents are finalized and issued to the new citizen. Biometrics must be provided before the passport and citizenship certificates are issued |
