Vanuatu Citizenship Office and Commission

The Citizenship’s Office and Commission (COC) is a statutory entity established by the Vanuatu Citizenship Act [Cap 112]. The Citizenship applications are processed by the Vanuatu Citizenship Office which is under the office the Prime Minister of Vanuatu. The Vanuatu Citizenship Office however relies on the department of Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Services for the certification of residence in Vanuatu for Citizenship by investment and naturalisation. The office is dedicated to facilitating a seamless and transparent process for those interested in obtaining Vanuatu citizenship.

The certification for citizenship by naturalization is given by the Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Services in line with the Citizenship Act [CAP.112] PART 3. This office is currently located at the new PM’s Building at Pierre Brunet Street.

Vanuatu Immigration and Passport Office

The Vanuatu Immigration and Passport services Department provides essential services to protect the nation of Vanuatu by controlling the movement of people at the international points of entry through management of passport, visa and travel identity documentation. This office does not deal with processing of citizenship applications.
